Right Beside You offers a postnatal service for the first few weeks, (usually to a maximum of 6 weeks but again flexible to Mums requirements).
This is separate to the birth doula package and you can take advantage of this service even if you don't want a birth doula. Equally if you are having a birth doula you can also then opt for this service too if you wish.
Postnatal support is charged hourly, with a minimum of 3 hours per session.
We provide informational support about caring for and feeding your newborn.
We provide physical support and are happy to undertake light cleaning duties, cook meals, do the ironing, walk the dog etc or play with other siblings; giving Mum precious time to bond with baby.
We can ensure Mum rests and is looking after herself well.
We provide emotional support and reassurance for those inevitable times when Mum will be overwhelmed
A few meal ideas are included here which you may want us to prepare for the family or we are happy to follow your own recipes
